Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with strengthening, balance, gait training, and functional mobility activities
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs and safety techniques
- Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient goals
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active California PTA license
- Current CPR certification
- Valid California driver's license
- Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Current physical exam and TB test
- Professional liability insurance
- Business license
Compensation: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
